Ive been offered a nice new custom harrison acurix at a great price but ive never even seen one let alone held one so curious if it will be ok as a floater rod or a bit to heavy being 2.75.

I have 3, they are truly lovely rods, they won’t cast heavy weights as you’d expect, but are lovely players rods, with a through action, and very light.

Thanks Mark, I only bought one to be used as a floater rod. I though 2.75 might of been a bit heavy but sounds like it will be fine. Thanks.

I have two as my only set of rods. I love them for the small waters I fish. Very soft compared to my heavier Torrix i once had.

Lovely rod on first impressions and lovely soft through action. Its got custom built by lee preston on it who ever he is.

Lee Preston is a custom rod builder from the north West. I've seen a few sets built by him. His work is fantastic.
I think he has a Facebook page.

👍🏻 The finish is superb and easily as good as any other custom rod ive had built.
