Hi all, my lad has been slowly getting into fishing and now wants to come along with me for some overnighters. He's almost 12 and has made it clear he doesn't want to share a double with his boring Dad.

Theres some good deals on this weekend and I've found a couple of options but want some opinions before I pull the trigger.

The choices are ;

Nash titan hide full system £269
Solar tackle camo brolly £199
Sonik AXS v2 £289

The only thing I need to be wary off is pack down size, smaller the better now I'm having to squeeze another angler in the motor!

I'd assume the Solar brolly is the smallest of those 3. I have both the Hide and AXS bivvies.
Both great and similar size. Pack down wise the AXS is longer and thinner, Hide shorter and a bit wider. Very similar bivvies and both would work great.

I haven’t used the Nash or Sonik but can fully vouch for the Solar (there’s another thread about this currently). It packs down well and not heavy, also goes up quick. It’s rock solid when up and with the zip-in front provides good protection from the weather. I’ll be using mine for an upcoming 72hr session over the bivvy. Fits my sleep system and gear no problem

Thanks for the replies, we went for the titan hide in the end. It was one of the only ones on display despite us travelling to many tackle shops.

Not set it up yet but it will be plenty big enough for him for a few years.
