I want to start fishing again but I have to be careful.
My Nash cradle can bash me when Im closing it down.
My NGT is better but its still elasticated
I suppose I really want a hinged one .
Which one can I get

I'm not sure how a cradle would help you knees. Wouldn't kneeling on a traditional mat be better for them?

I carry an additional basic folding unhooking mat purely for me to kneel on when setting up or when dealing with a fish. It has made a huge difference to my knees when fishing.

I'm not at all familiar with cradles but is there a way to remove the elastication so it doesn't try to shut as quickly, or maybe use a compression strap to prevent it from snapping shut, maybe even a elasticated strap acting in the opposite way that you could let out slowly to the one that's trying to shut it so quickly?
