This is a long shot, and short notice, but just in case there are any anglers in the Cheshire area or beyond who might want to help. I pulled this from Facebook as I follow their page.

Well, I went into Vale Royal Angling, bought a Daiwa Sweepfire 3000 reel for the kiddies which Tom kindly knocked some money off, paired it with a new spool of line that I have multiples of. Found a float & spinning rod I can donate, might even have a baby multiplier somewhere as I know they do Predator fishing training at times. Hopefully it might help light a angling spark that could remain for life

Steph was saying how they need more coaches, espesh on the predator side. Also need people who could give up 4 hours on a Sat morning, just to stand behind the kiddies, show how to land and handle bigger fish. Sounds like they're expecting a big crowd of kiddies, a very forward thinking club

Do you know when the draw is? i have 2 fox barbel twin tip rods with shimano 8000 series baitrunner reels on i would happily donate they are a quite a few years old but have only been used handful of times and are in excellent condition i still have the rod bags they came with they have been sat unused in a wardrobe, also a gardner unhooking mat and chub bedchair buddy both again excellent i would happily give to this

I've sent a Steph a message asking. I think it may be tomorrow but iirc they're having a morning with the kids on Saturday, so it may be then, I'll let you know as I do
EDIT 1, on further re read of the donation page apparently Daves of Middlewich are taking donations in for WAA
EDIT 2, There's a basic website here for Winsford Angling Academy, includes a tackle donation page but I'd contact via the e-mail/chat or the fb page as the phone isn't always on.

The presentation evening is tonight. They do accept tackle all the time though, with some of the nicer gear they do auctions on the site to raise money for the academy, not sure if you can request not to.
My wife dropped my stuff of with Steph in Winsford last night.
Probably best to contact Steph, she's answering e-mails at the mo.
