Is anyone using the older aqua union jack 3/4 sleeves with 50mm eyes and longer than 12ft rods OK?

Pretty sure when I had some before I was using 12.6 rods but they would have been 40's not 50's so it's more about if there is space for 50mm eyes.

I used them when i had my 12' 6" te torrix with 50mm fuji k series rings
