Title: Rod for PVA bags and mid distance (sorry german auto correct made the title worse)
I am looking for a new pair of rods. I am currently fishing Fox Warrior 12ft 3lbs but I am not confident in throwing PVA bags even 14 wraps with 3lbs lead.
I am planning on visiting a big shop on saturday and while searching their website I found two rods that came to mind:
- Nash Air Force 12ft 3,75lbs
- Century Excalibur XT 12ft 3,5lbs
I fish lakes 99% of the time. They have a lot of gravel on the ground with weeds and plenty of lillypads close to the shore / in the shallows. Carps usually are between 5-10kg but I plan on finding lakes with bigger fish.
Which of the two rods above would suit me better? I asked ChatGPT that said:
