Ok guys,

South essex carp fisheries, just off Mollands lane S. Ockendon

My dad used to fish here in the 60's/70's and I was wondering if anyone had some pics of the lakes.

We had a dabble in the early 90's and although there was still some really nice fish in there typical of the area, TWA, chase, aveley type strain. The lakes had suffered quite a bit and all the staging had come down. And not really as he remembered.

If anyone has pics of it in its heydays could they maybe upload them or PM about emailing me.

If your on Facebook. Have a look on the old school carp society page. Lot of the old school heads post on there. No doubt a few of the Essex lads from back in the day will be able to help you out.

Thanks, Im not on Fbook myself but will be able to check it out. Just remembered there used to be a good Weald and essex (something like that). Fbook page aswell.
