Hi all
I am in the market for a new bivvy solely for France
I've been looking at either the Tempest 200 (old model) or the Titan T2 pro (with wrap) both are a similar price once you add Skull cap, groudsheet etc
Has anyone had both bivvies and are there and things I should be aware of?
I know the old Titans suffered with fading for a while is this still the case

Probably not what you want, as the brand isn't mentioned, but I have a fox r series xl 2 man in camo with inner dome for sale @ £250. Used twice. I would have said the nash camo blockhouse pro, older model is worth your consideration, but it looks like it's been withdrawn since the release of the new model.

If your on Facebook look up Quest tackle they are bringing out a 2 man version of their Quest Defier mk3 bivvy believe it's due to arrive this month looks a good bit of kit nice and spacious

I've got a broken pole on tempest v2 brolley they have discontinued making them so it's useless now so be aware trakker bring new bivvies out regular
My main bivvy is a titan t1 in camo great bivvy but very heavy
I did own a fox voyager 2 man with extended overwrap for France huge bivvy but brilliant id have another if mrs was upto coming France again

Have you tried contacting Cipher for a spare pole for the Trakker, I bent a pole on my V2 bivvy and couldn't find a spare one. They sent me a replacement from a newer model that was the same size.

It's only really the 2 options I'm looking at and pros and cons of each
I have a Tempest v2 brolly currently with a social cap and size wise it's big enough just not the height, After a week it takes a toll on my back and knees

I had the T2 Pro Camo and all I can say is its way too big. It was a pain to put up and not nearly as versatile as my Nash Blockhouse in all honesty. Also way too dark during the day time. I got rid as never used it. I also have the T1 pro which is an epic bit of kit as more manageable. My personal opinion for ease of use and space for something like France nothing will beat a Nash Blockhouse. Sets up in seconds, lighter, better headroom and more than enough space.
