Anyone have any experience of these, they are cheap on eBay and wondering if they would make a cheap lightweight summer shelter.

I have a 100 got it for £150 with cap.

Tbh for money can't really fault it very similar to the old pioneer just different materials

Edit: crisp wrapper groundsheet is pretty naff

just ordered one off Hampton springs on ebay,,I refuse to pay 500 for the tempest rs brolly, I do t care how good it is,I'll run my tempest v2 brolly into the ground and have the cyclone as a back up in the shed,for 109 quid if it lasts a year I won't moan

I brought the 150 and it's huge. Nice bivvy for the money, I liked the external storm poles with quick release fixings, but like mentioned previously the groundsheet is shocking.
Easy to put up and pack away plus it's not very big or heavy once in bag 👍🏻

Thanks for the replies, I might look at the 150 just because of the extra door height. The rubbish groundsheet isn't a problem as I never use one. I just think for the money it's a lighter option than my Trakker V2 bivvy.

If you want to see one in person, my local go outdoors has one setup so others may have as well.
Can't comment on the cygnet but I had the 100 pioneer and of you've got a bad back it isn't for you, the 150 is fine though.
