Pulzar 6000 Anyone use these thinking of using them on my big river barbel rods any feedback please

I've got a 4000 and a 6000, neither have had much use though. I've used the 4000 a few times for chub fishing and it's been fine, smooth a decent drag and plenty of adjustment on the baitrunner. I bought the 6000 for floater fishing, I've had a few casts with it but can't remember catching anything on it. They seem a decent reel, especially at the price, but I haven't used them enough to give them any long term review.
One thing to watch for though is the plastic spare spool is weak. A couple of days after filling the 4000 for the first time I went into my tackle bag and the spool had burst, presumably caused by putting too much tension on the line as I filled it. It's never happened to me before in over fifty years filling my own reels. It was quickly replaced by the dealer (Tackle Tavern I think). I put some soft, compressible backing on the replacement before filling it. The standard alloy spool seems pretty good quality.
