A very good mate of mine has had a tough 6 months, and lost his buzz for fishing.

I want to take him somewhere in the next month or so, where we have a great chance of a few fish, but ideally not a ‘hole in the ground'. Happy to travel 50 miles or so from mid Sussex.

Get up to oxford and choose one of those pits.

Broadlands is OK, but right next to a motorway so not very relaxing
