I would really appreciate your opinion on some new product ideas if you could spare the time?
I'd firstly like to detail my background. I formed Angling Technics in 1992 with Phil Fry and designed all the electronics and all boats they make. I designed and developed the GPS gear and echo sounders (including Bluesounder). I left A.T. in 2002 to form Fulcrum Designs and designed the ACE i-3, Chub a few other bite alarms that I can't talk about as well as loads of non-fishing gadgets.
I've now decided it might be time to develop something new.
Which of these do you think would most appeal to you?
1) A £50 plan for a design of a self-build baitboat using super cheap and common parts and materials (including the hull). This would likely be a document available online. I might even stretch to a youtube video if required.
2) A £99 Deeper range extender.
3) A £200 pair of devices (one on a baitboat, one on a bank stick) that allows a LUCKY echo sounder (the super cheap yellow submarine transducer) to send echo images silly distances (up to 1000m) to my Bluesounder app on an iPhone.
4) A £300 pair of devices (same as 3) but this time a 1000m to a LUCKY echo sounder handset.

I won't say the name because unlike him i'm courteous, but i once ordered a yellow lucky mod from the uk and it was absolutely pants. Now i have a lucky ball thingy and it does what it is supposed to do up to 80 meters. Their app however is what it is, it doesn't give as much info as a deeper. So considering that limitation i don't think/know if 200-300 pounds is worth it just for silly distance, a distance at which few will fish. I mean 200 meters is just fine given the average user especially if you consider them using your cheap baitboat. But i do see demand for a good/working lucky yellow boat thingy at something like half the price in combination with their luckylaker app.

It was too expensive for current conditions sadly. I may still do one.
