What sort casting range for the classic? Feel and action between the 2?

I've used the classics for a couple of seasons and fished them up to 100yds. Relatively comfortably. I'm not a big caster so imagine that someone who know what they're doing could easily get 120-130yards if not more.
Haven't used the distance model, but I would guess you could add 20-30 yards to my statement above.

Currently have classics after previously owning distance model. The classics are considerably softer with a beautiful old skool players action. Distance rods were capable of good range but felt tip heavy. Up to 100yds classics are superb.

My set have after 3 years use, I chuck them away wet and never dry them out. Nearly always fish my tips under water too so hardly surprised. Been great rods though.

I have one slightly milky tip section in a set of 3. Shame really, as the are lovely rods otherwise

Milky/cloudy whippings:- a "light" rub with T-cut (or any alternative will do) and then a good dab with a decent car wax. Leave 15 minutes and jobs a good un. Should last a couple of years till need to repeat.
