Hi just bought 3 emblem-s 5000t will 1000m of 18lb syncro fill then or will I need backing?

Normally the capacity is mentioned on a label on the spool.
The 5000 series can take 370m of 0.35mm, since 18lb synchro is 0.40mm you will not require any backing
