Gonna have to get myself a new bivvy , killed the current tempest. Anyone know the door height of a frontier x . My 6'3” height and glass back is sick of crawling into bivvies for dwarfs .....any reviews of Sonik axs xl , looks huge

Frontier X is 130cm door height, one of the reasons I have chosen the XD is the 143cm door height


The carp shop where I buy a lot of gear has stopped selling Sonik bivvy's because too many came back, imo just get the XD

New Tempests have steered away from hobbit doors - RS100 Bivvy is 150cms / RS150 Bivvy is 155cms . . .think Frontier XD is 140cms . . .

You could go for Pioneer Ultralite 100 - 142cms . . . I'm 6'1" and I love mine - no stooping when seated on chair / easy access . . .compromised footprint though - you cannot store the kitchen sink etc

Frontier XD is 165H door is 143H

RS150: 155 (H) is External, 150H is the internal height of the RS150, door height is 100% lower than 150

I've had both and believe me the extra height and higher door height are 100% worth it

T1 pro and T1 camo pro door height is 158cm.
