Has anyone used these, are they worth a punt ? Or just stick to chains.

Swingers are a much better option than bobbins.
Never seen the Nash ones though.

They all have their place mate, swing or tension arms are better in windier conditions than chains, worth having them JIC. Personally I've used Solar stuff for decades, I prefer being able to add weights but I do have the old Solar Equiv and did use the illuminated Fox Euros at one point, the ability to change the weight by sliding it back and forth rather than adding weights can be quite handy. A few places have been clearing the Nash SA out cheaply as of late, AD etc, so defo worth a punt if you can get them cheap

They're a bit thin on the ground now, one or two on eBay. I've got some slap head bobbins at 10g and 20g. I was going to get 40g but the loaded strong arms would add the extra to what I've got.
