Can anyone give me some advice please . I have a rt4 bait boat with toslon x pilot . I have had trouble getting the compass on the x pilot to calibrate I bought a new module for it . The orange compass . I connected it up and tried a calibration with the sensor on top of boat and it worked perfectly . But when I placed it inside of boat where it is supposed to go it would not go through calibration again . Has anyone else had similar issues ? . I'm left with dilemma of either drilling hole in boat to fix module on outside of boat or not have the compass work at all . Not keen on sending off to car lounge if I can avoid it . Thanks for any help

Have you tried using the boat to see if it actually works? Im sure on my X Pilot once I had done the calibration it wont let me do it again. I can do the compass test though which is another option.

Yes it's the compass test mate . The circle only makes complete circle when on outside of boat
