One of the small wires on the separate balancing lead has come out of one of my RT4 batteries. The battery will still charge but I'm concerned about what damage it is doing with the balancing lead obviously not working as it should. I know very little about these batteries so any help would be appreciated - just need to be sure that it's not going to explode or something? Also how easy is it to resolve cos the individual wires are tiny!

Lithium batteries need balancing to avoid overcharging the cells which are probably in a series configuration.
So no I wouldn't they could go bang - contact them for advice if not already.
If you have a model shop near you (If not confident to repair yourself, take them there)

Ok thanks. I've tried just pushing the wire in whilst it's charging and the lights all flash. Does this mean they are balancing or would they still flash regardless?
