Hi All,

I wanted to get some smaller scales for some the club waters we go where we'd only be weighing smaller specimen fish.

Any recommendations?

Yeah ago I had the Reuben Heaton 9000 series digital scales until they snapped one day!

Yes Avons. They were what everyone used 30+ years ago.

What about FLYWEIGHT MK2 SPORT SCALE
40 LB X 1 OZ

Back when When a 30lb fish meant something, as they where thin on the ground generally speaking.
People were happy catching mid doubles and mid twenties.
If they bottomed out you had a monster. Happy days.

I had flyweights too, but the cases crack and the internals are crap.

RH do a small analogue scale, the 8000 series Microweigh, but the dial is too small and hard to read.

Check out spring balance scales some decent ones about (I know you asked about dial scales but worth a consideration.).

Which one's? I had a great set of super samsons back in the 90's which used to go up to 22lb
