What deal have AD done with nash on this. AD have had them in stock over a week. Other retailers are only showing them in stock today.

Is that what you are getting upset about?
Maybe they placed their order two weeks earlier? Maybe they ordered the highest quantity so took the first container?
Looks like everybody has it in stock now so people can buy where they want...or should we be phoning the police?

What point are you trying to make exactly?! Or are you just trying to drum up a bit of mob negativity?
Angling Direct won't put the smaller shops out of business by getting a bivvy in stock a week before them. It's obvious that if they are buying Nash gear by the container load then they will get their shelves filled first.
The reason those local shops will go out of business is because angling and the people taking part have changed. Everyone wants to be a carp angler and buy snazzy carp angling gear. This gear is expensive and carp anglers are lazy so they shop around online to save £5 on a £50 Daiwa rod mail order. Then they come on here and moan because the cheap courier their box shifter used lost it and they won't answer an email within the hour.
The days of going to your local shop, every town had at least one or two, to buy a new stick float and a half pint of maggots are fading away. Saving up to buy a rod from your local shop is being replaced by PayPal credit from an online box shifter like TFT.
For what it's worth..I don't order from Angling Direct but I have been into the Slough and Waltham Cross shops and they are fine. The guys that work there are clearly anglers and have always been very helpful. The shop I use most frequently is probably Cheam Angling as I work in SW London. No useful online presence at all but well stocked ‘local' tackle shop. If I need anything bigger then I go to The Tackle Box as I can drive there in 30 mins from home. The only stuff I buy online is old kit off eBay.

i dont have a lot of sympathy for the local tackle shop .... the way a lot were run and the shop environment (people hanging around by doors, smoking, drinking tea etc) was still evident, even in the late 2000's, it was an archaic experience a lot of the tome. It was obvious to many were never going to survive.
