I've heard quite a few rumours about a fish kill on heron and atilla this year. Is there any truth to it?
They definitely don't seem to ne producing the usual fish numbers. For example, Heron only did 11 fish last week and atilla 7. I appreciate that all lakes can have slow weeks but they are really low numbers for this time of year and seem consistently around that sort of figure

No worries, no harm done. Just thought I would say what I had done.
Hopefully it'll will get seen in here more by the type of carper that does lots of French trips

I fished Attila early in the year and whilst slow saw no sign of any fish going belly up.
The complex is fished 24/7 for most of the year and I'm sure that social media would be full of photos of dead fish .
There were rumours last year which I discussed with Dave the previous bailiff and the lakes are no longer as easier as they were and I'm sure a few disgruntled anglers that failed to catch may well state there was a fish kill.

You do raise a good point, but I know quite a few people who fish it quite regularly and those two lakes are definitely doing really low numbers. Fox and kingfisher seem to be doing their normal numbers

Heron was fishing really slow apart from a couple of pegs because the fish hold up
In the back bay . The rest of the lake struggled with many blanking . 6 of us fished Attila and one blanked .
Agreed Heron and Attila not producing the fish it once did

It's not really surprising given the amount of pressure the place gets
