How does everyone store their tiger nut hookbaits? I usually just take the best looking ones from the batch to use as a hookbait bit recently bought some 'jumbo' tigers to prepare and cook for hookbaits only.

Would just putting them in an air tight container keep them fresh or does anyone add ingredients to the pot?

Store them in betalin or other liquid... will preserve for months/years

Would you drain them first and then just add a few drops?

Drain the Tigers first, and then add enough Betalin sweetener/liquid to cover all the nuts in a small, secure and tight lidded pot.

Second that, have some tiger hookbaits sitting in a tub in me garage must be getting on for 10 years now.

Still perfectly usable. I soaked mine in Talin and Glycerin. Glycerin being a natural preservative.
