I had my reels serviced a few years ago, I know I should have said at the time but couldn't be without 1 for that long so didn't bother.

When the went in they were all fine, but when I got them back 1 is different to the others.

When the bail arm is open to cast it swings round on its own and rests on my finger (very off putting) the other 2 don't and this one has never before.

What could be the cause and way to fix this please?

Do you mean the rotor assembly swings round until the bail arm mount rests on your finger? If so is the anti reverse lock engaged (if the reel has one, I'm not familiar with it)
If it's meant to be a balanced rotor (so you don't need to use the anti reverse lock) then maybe a counter weights come out of one of the arms,

Yes that's correct.

I have the anti reverse on, my others are the same.

It's getting sorted now tomorrow as the company got back in touch to fix it.

Theres a little white plastic stop that is trapped between the midframe and side panel, they can easily fall out when reassembling so i would imagine its most likely that

This was exactly the issue.

The company sorted it right in front of me for free, huge respect to them.

Ah glad to hear they sorted it, it is very easy to do unfortunately but i now hold them in place with a dob of grease to stop it happening
