Can't decide between these 3, each have their Pros and Cons but wanted to hear from those who have used them IRL.

- Bank Bug
- ND Tackle P8
- Prologic Clinch Grip

I have the bank bug v2 in both plastic & stainless. I like them & they do the job I need of them but I would say the plastic thumbscrew doesn't inspire confidence on the plastic version. It will eventually be the part that wears out when the thread goes.

The prologic clinch grip looks an interesting take on the bank bug.

Definitely worth asking as these things aren't particularly cheap imo.

I would probably stay clear of the ND ones, nothing against the company, I have a couple of ND bits & they're good for the price but the magnetic butt rests are only as good as the magnets are strong. A big jolt from a carp if the rod is locked up rod & bye bye setup if you ask me.

Agreed, I've seen a video of them coming off when fishing a tight clutch and also people lifting their whole rod pod up when picking the rod up which is not what I fancy.

Have you taken a look at the jag rod locker?

Been using the plastic bank bug for a few years and have never have an issue in various lock up fishing situations still on the original O rings too.
