Good evening!

I wanted to know if anyone has experience with the SSA from Quality Baits and if it resembles the original? I read in an old topic about SSA that a user named 'Sealine' says this is the same recipe as the original.

Thanks

I can't answer your question I'm afraid as I have no Knowledge of the quality baits one. The old Nash version was brilliant and I used it for many years. Then they rereleased it under their “ace cards” label and it was totally different.

Yes. It is excellent. Very very similar to the Hutchie original.

Must admit I'm surprised by this comment. Not that it is an excellent product as it will definitely catch fish, but to my nose and eyes it neither smells or looks like the Hutchinson original.

My guess is that it is half liquid liver and half monster crab flavour...so will catch fish over and over again but the original SSA it is not, at least in my opinion.

I cant comment on that product but in the distant past I used a lot of Simons stuff and never had a reason to think it wasnt good quality and used it with total confidence.

I'm using QB SSA at 10ml per 12 eggs in a fishmeal mix for river carp. Commons to 29lb and barbel to over 12lb so far, so it certainly doesn't put the fish off.

Agree Christian. I got a bottle and immediately gave it away. Sure it will catch carp but not the original or similar to me either.
