Hi All,

Are these worth it? I've not used solid PVA bags for years (use mesh if I do) but I have seen a few companies do these now.

Can anyone recommend one in particular or are they all much for much?

I use the Fox one but I got rid of the plastic collar,i use one of them metal hoops from a keyring

Look at Carp King very good pva bags and mesh at a top price. If buying shop brand korda pva bags are good. Fox tend to stick together and I've had whole packets returned unable to use.

I had a load of fox slow melt ones and every one, without fail, split as soon as I put the orange loader in it. The system is fantastic, the bags are poo

I've used the fox system in the past and for bulk making of smaller bags (eg for a runs water) they are a good product however they don't really save that much time and eventually the orange inner loses its 'spring' rendering them useless. These days I prefer to make up bags with my tried and tested method as I need them - ie a slightly underfilled bag with the top third cut vertically down the centre - I then use the excess PVA 'wings' and twist them individually then tie them at the top of the bag with two tight overhand knots (around a mini leader) . . .quick and negates twisting and sticking (don't trust this method) and/or tying additional tape/PVA string to get a tight bag . . .

You can get copies of the fox filler off ebay or temu for a fraction of the price. I use the cygnet bags (now trakker) not had any problems with either.

I use same -its a great way of doing bags tight without excess taping and the 'blob'

Agree - I hate excess PVA blobs. Boringly its a method I've never seen in a mag / webpage / vid EVER. Assume its cos they'd rather sell more 'filler kits' / PVA string tape etc. I can get bags really tight using the bunny ear method . . .

Those price on carp king are much better than any of the shop stuff!

Are you using them regularly? you dont have problems with bags prematurely splitting or not melting well enough?

Ha me either- Great minds hey mate lol.

They pull down tight too -I use slightly longer bags if can get them -tube like. Tag are longer so more pull down ability..

Those sh*t fox bags did same on me-split down seams. Tat!
