Has anyone else had this problem
Has anyone used the new fox slik power guard boilie pult
I have been using the old power guard pult for years
Only having to change the elastics and rubber pouch occasionally.
It was perfect up to 60 yards and had the extra finger guard
When they launched the new slik pult I liked the idea of one elastic and it going around the outside of the pouch rather than pulling on it so I bought one
First time out the canvas that holds the elastic in place started to come away and made the pult unusable. Spoke to angiling direct and they said return it for a new pouch
Unfortunately they are 30 miles away and had no stock so using a bit of lateral thinking I used staples and glue and it worked
Now after four trips it has 30 staples holding the pouch together and they still come apart
Sent an email of to fox last week ( still waiting )
My dilemma is do I travel 30 miles to try to get my money back, do I order some spare pouches (£7) each or do I get another companies pult

60 miles travel to replace a piece of sh1te for an identical piece of sh1te ? Add to which, you've made substantial alterations to the original and they are not then obliged to replace it anyway. Bin it and lesson learned.

Your going to be waiting a very long time for any response from Fox ..
Their customer service is absolutely appalling, I looked at some of the customer service reviews, and it makes for interesting reading ,unless anyone knows differently. .?

Your right. Ive tried to contact Fox twice in the last 6 months and not had a reply once.
How some of these tackle companies operate is beyond me.

Tackle shops go through the Fox Rep that covers their area to deal with warranty problems and ordering stuff in done on an online system fox phone number is 0208 559 6500 if you want to ring them

I also purchased one and it now resides with about 20 others that promised so much.
I've been fishing for over 40 years and despite all the advancements in tackle the pult has been the one thing that has never got any better from the drennan days.
The jag is a total calamity, but probably shows we expect too much from an item we abuse, I have enough to do so cleaning and removing elastic after trips is not something that interests me.
I still have a couple of old fox swing heads that are good but elastics are forever perishing. I did have a phase of triggers broom on my guru green pult where I replaced every part every few months, now I consign the whole thing to landfill and buy a replacement as the difference in cost of spares is pennies.
Anyone that knows of a pult that is good, tight grouping at 60 yards that doesn't make your knuckles bleed let me know...

Yep I purchased one too, the solid piece of rubber looked like a great idea....... first time out however and it has coiled up like a pigs tail, had to take it to bits to sort it out......load of crap, will stick with my Korda one.

The old Trev Tomlin whopper dropper, i managed to find a couple of new ones on the net recently after the rivets that hold the ring for the elastic gave up on my original one.
Tried other makes but nothing comes close.
