As carp fishing for UK anglers has evolved in France over the past years., some of the more mature anglers turned their back on Noddy waters favoring UK barbel fishing or fishing great French lakes such as the Orient or Rainbow.
Leaving just the " couple of hours from Calais" Noddys with their plastic PB'S. Surely at some stage they would want to become real carp fishermen.

I'm not really sure what point you are trying to make here. However my nephew hs a rekative newcomer to carp fishing, he has been to France several times with mates, but he is still yearning to catch an English thirty, having caught a couple 0f 29lbers. Don't forget tgere are many more big carp available for relatively new carpers to catch. When I first started carping a 25lber was a big fish.

Angling is broad church surely something for everyone , as my old mate once wrote " who are they to judge us when we're are just having fun" 😜 or something like that.

Really? an over commercialised lake on a "who you know" basis that has thousands of hours of video footage on Youtube? There's plenty of "noddy" waters in the north of france i'd fish any day of the week over Rainbow.
