People have said that the drennan is to small for carp it's smaller than the QuickDraw but the measurements on the sellers state they are the same size just a different colour and smaller clips does anyone know is this correct

Do you mean the roll up drannan? If so it is too small for carp over 20lb yes. I have the quickdraw and it's much bigger (and better)

I obviously I don't mean the cheap drennan small roll up one
I mean the drennan that looks the same as the QuickDraw but green as I said the sellers measurements are the same as the QuickDraw just wondered if they got it wrong both mats 90 cm x 50cm they state

Hi mate l've been looking at these myself and it does state on the websites everywhere they are the same size so if your using the rucksack than l would go for the Drennan which as the right clips on and if there is any difference in size it will be minimal, there was a post on about these a couple of weeks ago under Roll up mats if you have a look, must admit none of these knock my socks off but probably like you want something decent but compact roll up sort of mat for short sessions and travelling light and still haven't decided yet.

I ordered the Drennan Matt. But the seller I used didn't have it in stock so after a quick phone call they sent me the ESP Quickdraw instead. To be honest I only went for the drennan version because it was cheaper. I got the ESP one for the same price which was a touch. To answer your question they are the same size. A quick Google will confirm. Easily accommodate Carp up to 40lb.
