Hi all, I'm having trouble getting a French license online, specifically what to put in the association box.
I'm planning on having a day trip or two to fish the Orient,St.Croix and Cassien. I know I'll need a national license to do this, but unsure as to what to put in the association box, if anyone can help.
Also, can you still buy day ticket/weekly tickets at the tabac shops? And I presume these are just convenient type corner shops.

If you start with ‘Department' (county) where the lakes are (drop down list, select), then it offers a list of the associations in the dept. Just pick one that is ‘reciprocal' with all other depts and associations (little symbol of a fishing float on the map of France). Other than that, it doesn't matter, because your Carte will be for the entire dept.
If the lakes are in more than one dept, then you might as well get a national Carte. (Bottom of drop-down list of depts)
You can get an annual card, or one for just a week or even a day. You can buy them via most tackle shops. Not sure about general post offices, corner shops etc.
Also note that some waters do have a supplement to pay, for example carpodromes (‘commercials') that have been specifically stocked or managed (e.g. disabled access).
