Just wanted to know what bs braid do people use on a spod rod using a deeper pro and spomb

I use 44lb Power Pro straight through.
Had the Berkley Whiplash but twice I snapped off in a short space of time (maybe a bad batch as many I know like the stuff), never had the issue with Power Pro though.

Cheap 30lb braid off ebay, no leader, been using for years and never had a problem.

I like the Daiwa J-Braid x8, same as the Korda Spod Braid and never needs wetting.

On one reel I have the 0.16 20lb version which is the same spec as the Korda stuff and on another the 0.20 29lbs version, not a lot between them really, use a 50lb Whiplash leader with them. Casts really well and as I said it never needs wetting
