Hi all I'm thinking of buying a jag micro pod and I use shimano ultegra xte 14000 reels would they be OK on this pod or will the middle reel touch the centre bar

Should be ok but you're better off budgeting for 2x additional Jag sticks (I have 7" & 9" in the pod bag) as the 'uprights' you get are pretty low . . .the existing rear upright also has the slot for the screwdriver bit so if you fish timber platforms (I only use this pod on platforms) you cannot fully set up until the pod is screwed down . . .(if you want to use the rear in its intended form as the rear upright)

Do u use jag bank sticks on the pod if so do they fit ok as I heard someone say they use taller stage stands but I might have got it wrong

Yes standard sticks - although with this pod I think the wider diameter augered sticks (XCavators) also fit . . .

Is the augered part too wide to fit the diameter? Was thinking of getting a pair to cut down on spare sticks for this pod
