I've been an avid user of Delkims all of my fishing career but I ain't impressed with these.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but they beep continually in the wind but more so in the rain which drives me mad. I've tried turning the sensitivity down but this provides utter gash bite indication.

Any ideas before they get sold?

Are you fishing slackish lines and light bobbins...

Tighten up and fish swingers with at least half an ounce counter weight with just an inch drop.

Yes slackish lines, fishing 20 yards out.

Surely they should work though?

Use swingers or a similar swing arm indicator, if your fishing with slack lines and hangers, then false wind bites are always likely.

I will, I just wondered if this was a common issue.

I've never had a problem otherwise with various incarnations of Delkims, certainly never incessant beeping when it rains.

And get told to send them back at his cost, they have a fiddle and charge him £90 for the pleasure. Rinse and repeat, (literally) when it rains.
