In the past I have used a sling mat to return fish and I normally use a Gardner sling to return fish when using a cradle.
With my NGT cradle , which I dont use often, whats stopping me from folding the front legs in , which ca be done easily. and returning fish directly from the cradle ?

As long as you think it's safe to do si. There should be nothing stopping you.
