Hi folks, was just after some advice on how to fish Barley Pool as have a trip planned there shortly. Obviously quite a small venue but would be good to hear from those that have been about the best way to fish it any bait tips etc.

Only been once, found it easy. I had a fish within 5 minutes, dropping a solid bag under the bush in the bay at the side of the hut. Then fished the margins and around the island and we caught on all rods, either bags or over bait. We even both caught the same 22 mirror 12 hours apart!

I've fished it a few times for a bit of fun - boilies and pellet seem to work. Fish will hold up behind island given half a chance so stick a rod down there if non of your group fish from the gate swim.
