I have a pair of free spirit hi's Ive er rods with a fuji 18 reel seat and with tournament 5000t they don't seat in the reel seat straight. Wondered if anyone had a solution with filing the reel seat or reel foot.

If anyone else has this problem I used some general automotive gasket material between the reel seat and the reel leg if anyone is looking for a solution made it a tighter fit and stopped the reel seat needing to be overtightened and making the reel not sit straight. Definitely not perfect but figured I'd share.
