Hi,

Can anyone put me in contact with a Rod Builder or someone who will be able to replace a S-lite 30mm rod ring please. They must be close to Walsall or Wolverhampton.

The Ceramic ring has cracked and I would like it replacing.

Your local tackle shop will know a guy.

I'm sure the old fosters(now AD) had one not sure now maybe worth asking if they still have some of their old fosters staff working for them

Local tackle shop, said its a dying art and everyone they knew has retired or stopped !

If its just the ceramic insert you would be able to do it yourself. You should be able to get hold of a new full s-lite guide or even just the insert. I think the Taklebox in Kent or Johnson Ross sell just the guides and will only be a few quid.

I got a set of Bob the rod armalites ,...mk3 first version with the stainless ball end caps ,Bob fitted a black blanking butt cap..

I want to find out if its glued, or screwd up wonder if he could be contacted to just ask this simple question ,I know he's retired also.

( I don't want to force anything on the rod,hence my question)
