the ribs have snapped, is there something similar
or it there a blow up mat with sides that
maybe could be even smaller packed away?

By ribs do you mean the fibre glass poles? Cheap as chips in local camping shops, match the diameter, cut down, even use the original elastic, job done

they will still be the same, so I can twist them to fold the pop up mat at when packing away? I'll take one out and try to match it..🙂

Yes, you can do whatever you want. I'm not familiar with the mat but would imagine them to be fairly generic, just tent poles with elastic through the middle, you could just replace the broken sections.

they are solid fibreglass poles but the camping shops don't seem to have any, only thicker ones..
it's really annoying because I worked out they are exactly the same as the poles on pop up tents (the ones that het left behind at festivals) Some will turn up eventually but I want them now 🙂

NGT do as similar mat, I just saw on a previous chat.
I'll look at ngt and also see if there is a decent blow up mat with sides that packs away small, if there isn't one someone should invent one 🙂

Might be worth trying a local rc model shop, if you have 1. They do fibre glass and carbon rods from a coulple of mm up.
