Anyone own\picked up one of these?
In particular, I'm after a 3.5lb TC cheap Casting Rod.
Already own a TX2 3.25lb but can't stand the Guides on it.

Picked up three back in the summer, a chap locally had them on marketplace at silly money.
Only the 12ft 3.25 test and only used them once a few weeks back on a 30 acre pit TBF they are what they are, I was doing 28 wraps easily enough with 3oz leads.

Not easy to answer unless you picked up a few different Rods, but would you say the Blank is proper Fast Taper, or do they Bend quite a Bit into the Mid Section?
I'm guessing being a cheap Free Spirit the TC is overrated.

Blanked on that occasion so never got to sample a fish on them to see what kind of action they take on they recovered well enough on the casting, I'd say it's all going to be in the top third.
