I've just changed over to using a century stealth pod setup the only gripe I have is I can't find a way to store it with the alarms on the bank sticks without the alarms being vulnerable. I've looked at the new direction ones so far and they seem alright I'd rather not have a long bulky adaptor like the prologic or NGT ones

So I'm looking for recommendations of quick release adaptors I could use with them and my hutt rests to speed up and ease setting up.

Or if anyone knows a suitable storage solution that would allow the sticks to be stored with the alarms on where the alarms won't rattle and get bashed about.

Back in the day when i had one of Keith's Defiant Trident's i would store the end with the alarms on inside my bed before folding it up. you cant get anything much more secure than that

the other thing I really like are the Bite Alarm Knitted covers you can get on Ebay
they are brilliant protection
I did have a mate say but they are not waterproof ?

my reply was GOOD it makes you properly dry your alarms before you pack them away !
THESE are top quality and include a free receiver cover if required ( its in the description) not like the cheaper thin ones

Obviously depends on which alarms you have, but if its delks then they do the D-LOK which is exactly what you're after - added benefit is if you're bit of a tart its a lot easier to get them all straight on a buzz bar, or easier to swap around if have multiple setups of banksticks/pods and want to swap the alarms around.

Only works with delks though as you have to remove the bolt from the alarm and replace it with one half of the d-lok

I had the prologic ones years ago - although not for my alarms - I used them on a traditional brolly to save myself 30 seconds screwing in a storm pole - seemed like a good idea at the time as I was getting really anal about minimising my tackle and moving around a particular water I was on - they were pretty good to be fair but a) will be pretty long, but probably more importantly b) will rotate on the top of the bank stick or buzz bars etc

You'll also see my quick release adaptors in these pics, older Solar Kit Off Adaptors, they come up on eBay every now and then, you can replace the thumb screws with grub screws if you so wish and there is a modern version. Keith at Defiant MPS also does some. Andy will make the bag to your spec. Mine has a zipped comp for indicators/bobbins/whatever.
