Hi all I have a solar ch08 bedchair with fortis bag, sim and korda bedchair cover, just wondering if the sp tech bedchair would fold up better than the ch08 (bigger hinges)

No,
That's the only downside to both Solar beds that I can think of is that it doesn't fold properly flat with a sleeping bag/cover
Have had both, Can not fold the Solar Sp Ctech with my Avid heated sleeping bag (standard size) on it, luckily I still had an Anaconda Waterproof Sleeping Bag Carrier

Just saw the new solar sp c-tech bedchair for 2024. Looks good but not too sure about the memory foam

That's why I got rid of my c tech......it was like a pyramid with a sleeping bag and SIM in it......

Tbf I have pretty much the same set up and don't find it too bad to fold done reasonably flat

I have no issues folding mine with the fortis bag on - however one thing Ive always done on all my beds (first started when we had beds with the wheel adjustments on) is use a ratchet strap to pull everything in as tight as poss - use them on my bivvy as well as I hate packing the bloody things up to go back in the bag

Without starting another thread..does the SP c tech sleep system fold up ok, and is it possible to get a SIM between bag and bed? Thanks!
