Angling direct have the original daiwa emblem spod reel for £89 and the newer emblem 35 spod reel for £69 at the minute which is a right bargain. Free postage as well.

I bought one of the new ones to compare it to my original. Cant go wrong at that price.

I went from the daiwa spod reel to the crosscast spod reel and don't regret it.

Picked one up yesterday from AD Coventry. It's certainly a lots smoother than my 15 year old Emblem Pro!!

Nice one just ordered one, missed my old Emblem that packed up years ago after years of abuse. Only thing is I can't remember if they come QD'd or if I did it myself?

The original emblem spod doesn't have QD
