Worry not - not another what line thread (we'll sort of)

I fished yesterday with reels loaded up with a decent branded line that was cheap when they bought out a new version and it's behaved OK.
I am not the greatest caster but am OK to just about 100yards all weather, I need to chuck about 80+ yesterday and every cast - good ones lost the will at about 60 yards and dropped out of the sky. I checked everything , no line markers or rough spots, I upped the lead to 3oz (usually 2.5 with ease) hi-s 3lb and techs. Not a big wind.

No obvious signs of twist. Is it just crap line or am I indeed a noddy - it was .35 and acted like flouri

I've had similar before and only realised in the morning the line was going round the rod blank where I'd put the rod together in the dark.

Oh. My God - that has to be it- crap thing is I will never know.
Am I too late for 2023 noddy post of the year

That is an unbelievably tough category to win, with almost all of us in with a shout, if truth be told.

Certain people amongst us with a better chance than others.

55s, surely you will know next time as the issue will either be resolved or still happening.....
