Does anyone on here own this reel , if so what's your opinion , would this be too big for a 9ft stalking rod.?
Great reels, use them for barbel and pike. Would go great on a 9 or 10ft rod. Bombproof reel.

I have D's which are almost identical.
Perfect size for 9/10/11ft rods.
Brilliant clutch.
Spool is good size for up to about 15lb line, (15lb gardner gt is fine, 18lb synchro xt comes off a little bit curly.)
Line clip on D's is the crappy old plastic type, I think OC's have the same
Apart from the line clip, brilliant reels.

Well I went for the 6000 oc for my stalking setup. Thanks for the input everyone.
