Any help appreciated here.
Does 20lb korda boom make for a good spinner rig boom section? And also what size crimps would people advise for this?

The nash slap head swinger is a great indicator imo that's got interchangeable heads as well as a sliding weight on the arm. So yiu can have a 40g head with more weight added by sliding the weight towards the indicator head.

Surprised to hear of the issues with whiplash as I've used it for years with no issue.
Always buy by diameter rather than breaking strain is what I've been told. I use the 0.18mm which is roughly 50lb.
Used it for carp and pike fishing.
Out of interest is it the 8 stand whiplash people are having issues with or the much older version of whiplash?

Yes it does to be fair mate. Unless you're going to America any time soon thats probably the best price you'll get.

Brilliant stuff, I used to buy it whenever I was in the states from basspro shops. If you think carp anglers are fussy over what gear they use, you should meet bass anglers over there.

Pretty sure it's a size 11 or 12.

As said in other posts, just use a sunken pike or catfish float above your tubing or on your leader.
Keeps the line behind the rig up in the water and as soon as you get a take, everything will hopefully remain clear of the bottom.

Nash zig flo is pretty good, bit the best is Dave harrell float fishing line in 0.24mm, plenty boyant and strong enough for what you're after.
