Can anyone tell me if Jag 3 rod adjustable buzz bars will drop into and fit correctly the uprights on a Solar P1 worldwide pod? Thanks.

No the jag bars are quite a bit thicker.

It would probably be more cost effective just to buy the correct bars

If you want to do it the easiest way is to make some new 8mm uprights out of 316 stainless, the original are easily removed by removing the grub screw then unscrewing the upright.
You will then see what lenght of the 8mm upright that has to be tapped 8mm and for the top you need an adapter to take 3/8bsf female thread and just use the drop in goalpost converters from summit which take 1/2" bars like what your jag are, the original solar drop ins are for 3/8 bars
This way you are not damaging or altering the solar uprights and you could easily refit if needed at a later date
It is a lot easier than it sounds and for anyone with a lathe quite a simple job i made some for mine several years ago when i had access to a lathe.
