I've got a bag of Tarmac Meltsway Rocksalt left over. Would I be able to use this in my bait?

Personally I wouldn't use the road or path clearing stuff

I'm sure the grade used for fishing purposes, mostly the Himalayan Rock Salt with that nice pink colouration, is a better grade.

It is not pure rock salt but also contains calcium sulphate (gypsum) and anti-caking agent.
