Hi forum

... bit of a long shot here and maybe a bit weird but I hope I am not alone with this issue. I have a Fox Bedchair sleep system with sleeping bag zipped to the bedchair. The bed is super comfortable and sleeping bag is perfect. It has crash zips either side but they only go down 75% of the length of the bed and stop each side maybe 2 foot from the bottom of the bed. This means the bottom section of the bed is always covered by the bag in a semi tight position.

As a result I found I suffer from some pain after a few hours where the tops of my feet start to cramp up. I normally sleep with a duvet at home and my feet are exposed at the bottom/not covered so I don't face this issue. There is no way to overcome this as the zips won't move all the way around the bag/bed. The only way I can get around this is to sleep on my side with my feet in a sideways position (not upright position) which again isn't always the most comfortable position.

What would be ideal would be to essentially unzip the bottom portion of the sleeping bag and leave the middle sections zipped up covering the central part of the bed.

I have checked online and can't fnd a bed that has this? has anyone else faced the same issue and found a sleep system that has this feature/option?

Thnx

Have you thought about taking the bag to a local seemstress and getting a second zip put on, just to go around the area where there isn't one? Army Andy may even be able to do that too.

EDIT, that semi tight action of the bottom of the bag, if I'm not careful and lie on my back lower down in my bag that pressure on my feet can give me real trouble with my right achillies

Saw yesterday that TFT have an offer on the Avid level tech sleep system and I'm in the market for a new one so watched a video on YouTube covering it, it has extra room at the foot end for the exact purpose you mention, so you can have your feet pointing up when laying on your back, worth a look imo
Are you sure?

This action cannot be undone.

Yes, continue
