Morning all,

I will be looking to purchase a set of Okuma Obsidian soon and i am looking to load it with the following mainline:

OGX Copolymer mainline.

Does anyone on here have any experience with it?

So far i have used:
Daiwa Sensor (years ago)
Maxima Chameleon
Gardner GTHD 12lb
Gardner GTHD 15lb
Berkley CM90 16lb (currently using on my INC-6000)

The gardner line i think has been my favourite although it has more stretch than the berkley. The berkely has served me well but it does have a memory, especially if you leave your gear in a hot car during the day, get the rods out on the following morning which is cold, you will have a lovely coil for a number of casts.

this doesnt surprise me tbh whilst the others are still going strong today

Used it for two sessions and stripped it straight off my reels.I went back to ESP Syncro xt,the TA line went into a massive birds nest on a cast more than once

Same as me pal hated it. Frayed and coiled bad

I switched from CM90 to Korda touchdown 3 years ago and have not regretted it for a moment.

wow, and given the number of posts you had made, i'd bet you know what you're doing when it comes to spooling up...

I've been using it for over a year and been impressed with it, mainly in the 15lb but used the 20lb in france on a very weedy water and landed my pb over 70lb with no drama's, each to their own but i hated esp syncro which was fine for a couple of sessions then coiled worse than any line i've used.
