Long story short, my old man suffers with COPD and suffers with anxiety because of it, so he wants something he can fall asleep on where he is basically sitting up right, or as near to.
I know a lot of beds now are made to be as flat as a pancake, which is great for the likes of me, but not for him.
Any suggestions of beds that have an adjustable head end would be greatly appreciated.

Couldn't comment on quality but NGT still do two bedchairs with locking hand cam wheel for vertical head adjustment .

Thanks chaps, I'll take a look at the bedchair options.
He's tried the pillow option before, ended up taking numerous pillows, most of which just slide off the bedchair or he doesn't seem to sleep well like this. He's done the odd overnighter using the pillows but for longer sessions he wants something that can sit more upright.

A bit heath Robinson, but how about a bucket or two or something similar to prop up the head-end ? ....I used to do something similar with a chub snooper reclining chair when my son came with me, to support the back of the reclined chair when it was reclined flat

Could use a storm pole or long bank stick with a rod butt grip to grip frame to hold it up

I think he wants to keep it 'carpy' but I see Sonik do a 'Lounger' that angles up at the head end, so does anyone have experience with Sonik tackle in general?

This sounds like the perfect solution to me.
For a while back in the 80's I slept on a lovely cushioned sun lounger, I found it super comfy.

Ya I remember my Argos click click with 1 inch x6ft foam with a extra cover to sandwich the foam between the 2 covers but then the lafuma bed came o heaven so comfortable lol
